Ohio Turkey Hunts
Price: Guided $1500 / Semi-Guided $1000 (Group Discounts Available)
If you have never hunted Eastern Turkeys in Southeast Ohio it is time to get in the truck and get on down here! Big Birds! Lots of Birds! and Lots of Property! We hunt on over 8,000 private acres managed to hold turkeys. Our properties are a good mixture of heavy timber, creek bottoms and professional managed food plots engineered from Mossy Oak Biologic Consultant Brad Lockwood. We run feeders year round for our deer herd which the Turkeys enjoy as well! You can use gun or challenge yourself with the bow.
We kill several toms each year with over 10″ beards and 1 1/2″ spurs! Our 3 day Ohio turkey hunts include meals, lodging, guide to show you where birds are roosting and property lines and a 2 bird limit (1 bird per day). For semi-guided turkey hunts you should bring decoys, calls and blinds with you.
All our turkey hunters check in the day before the hunt after 4pm, get settled in, scout their designated area for roosting birds and then enjoy a nice home cooked meal for dinner. You will hunt the following 3 days. Checkout is by 10am. If you are a novice and would like a guide you can hire one. Make sure you schedule a guide in advance.
Most of our turkey hunters bag 2 birds and because of that they keep coming back year after year. Our turkey hunting season in Ohio runs from April 18 – May 15th. The 1st half of the season is hunting til noon only so bring the fishing rods so you can enjoy one of the 20 stocked ponds on the property in the afternoons.
If you bring a group of 8 or more you will be the only group in camp. The lodge sleeps 16 and all linens and towels provided. All meals are included. You can purchase your turkey license online or stop and buy it over the counter ($125) tags $25 per bird. Call for pricing and group discounts. Visit the Ohio Dept of Natural Resources Wildlife page for complete license information and application.
